Until Summer of 2008 after the roll - out of Sarah Palin I was a firm supporter of my home senator John Sidney McCain even serving as a precinct captain in 2000 for his failed president nomination bid for my then party. I held a loyal allegiance to the senior senator and voted for him as my representative exceeding twenty-two years. Ironically it was also through his staff efforts that I as a compensated disabled veteran received my first position with KTVK 3TV CNN in Phoenix.
I grew up Republican raised in the beautiful pristine Prince George County in the Commonwealth of Virginia - not to be mistaken for our affluent neighbor up North Prince Georges County, Maryland. The majority of the GLBT however are not members of that tribe by any long stretch of the imagination. Glenn no more than I speak for the GLBT community than I do for blacks, French-Italians, Crow Native Americans or the GLBT. Membership in those tribes does not grant me nor him expert status as to the depositions of persons who share these similarities. The homosexual writer and questionable Democrat goes without being challenged as he blast his tripe about Progressives and gays agendas. Glenn things neither are aggressive enough with their demands upon the president as though he himself received a personnel evaluation atop Mount Sinai from Abraham on calfskin as to who is doing what.

The issues I have with you go beyond words sir - the list is long but be-forewarned if you truly believe that voting for anyone except a Democrat in the 2012 election will further gays, blacks, same gender couples, immigration reform, health-care knock yourself out it is your prerogative but I will fight you and so will a multitude of others. What you want is a white family in the White House or your whims adhered to by the Democratic leadership. I am certain you supported Hillary and I am also certain that you thought or think she would have been better than the black guy - I don't think so.

The GLBT community as it stands has never been there or hardly been there for blacks, Latinos, Asians, transgenders and others. It does not matter to them because in the end they will not suffer much under a repressive conservative regime. They have status, gainfully employed and an air of notoriety. They will continue with the lifestyles they have along with their creature comforts. Thus the attitude of vote for anyone except this president or this Democrat is criminally insane and reckless. There are millions of GLBT brothers and sister who worry about their futures, jobs, homes, education, health care access or equality who have no voices. The majority on average don't want to wait another administration and hope for a little progress towards tolerance - which under a Republican is impossible and unrealistic. In our two party political system sitting out or voting third party is a direct capitulation of aiding the Republicans gain power. No, sorry Glenn and like minded professional gays you cannot have it your way. Toe the line or get out of the way. The majority of us average folks just simply having a difficult enough time trying to survive do you really think we want to throw that because your think the president or Progressive are worse than Republicans? Listen sweetie darling the reason they leadership of the Democratic party aren't listening to your moans is because the majority of the GLBT aren't listening either!
